We are happy to let you know that you can connect your Amazfit smartwatch to WalkFit by syncing your activity data through the Zepp app and Health Connect.
To ensure your steps and other activity metrics are tracked correctly, you first need to pair your Amazfit watch with the Zepp app and then allow it to share data with Health Connect. We recommend granting all available permissions to ensure the most accurate and seamless data synchronization.
To set up this integration, please follow these steps:
- Connect your Amazfit watch to your Android phone:
- Download the Zepp app from the Google Play Store and make sure it is updated to the latest version.
- Open the app and sign in to your Zepp account, or create one if needed.
- Pair your Amazfit smartwatch with the Zepp app via Bluetooth.
- Allow Zepp to sync with Health Connect:
- Open the Zepp app.
- Tap Profile in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Add accounts (or Link third-party accounts, depending on your app version).
- Choose Health Connect.
- Enable Sync with Health Connect.
- Tap Allow all to grant Zepp permission to read and write your activity data. We recommend enabling all available permissions, including Steps and other supported activity metrics.
- Verify your Health Connect permissions:
- Open the Health Connect app.
- On newer Android devices, you can also access it via Settings → Apps → Health Connect.
- Tap App permissions.
- Select Zepp.
- Make sure all relevant data categories are enabled.
