Xiaomi (Mi Band / Watch) integration

Choose your platform

We are happy to let you know that you can connect your Xiaomi Watch or Mi Band to WalkFit by syncing your activity data through Mi Fitness and Health Connect.

To ensure your steps and other activity metrics are tracked correctly, you first need to pair your wearable with the Mi Fitness app and then allow it to share data with Health Connect. We recommend granting all available permissions to ensure the most accurate and seamless data synchronization.

To set up this integration, please follow these steps:

  1. Connect your Xiaomi Watch or Mi Band to your Android phone:
  2. Download the Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) app from the Google Play Store.
  3. Open the app and sign in to your Xiaomi account, or create one if needed.
  4. Pair your Xiaomi Watch or Mi Band with the Mi Fitness app via Bluetooth.
  5. Allow Mi Fitness to sync with Health Connect:
  6. Open the Mi Fitness app.
  7. Tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
  8. Scroll down and select Third-party data.
  9. Choose Health Connect from the list of available apps.
  10. Tap Allow all to grant Mi Fitness permission to read and write your activity data. We recommend enabling all available permissions, including steps, heart rate, sleep, and other supported metrics.
  11. Verify your Health Connect permissions:
  12. Open the Health Connect app.
  13. On newer Android devices, you can also access it via Settings → Apps → Health Connect.
  14. Confirm that Mi Fitness is connected.
  15. Tap App permissions.
  16. Select Mi Fitness.
  17. Make sure all relevant data categories, including Steps, Heart rate, and Sleep, are enabled.
