We are happy to let you know that you can connect your Fitbit wearable to WalkFit by syncing your activity data through the Google Health app and Apple Health / Google Health.
Step 1: Connect Your Fitbit Device to Your Phone
- Download the Google Health app from the Google Play Store, and make sure it's updated to the latest version. (Requires Android 9 or higher)
- Open the app and sign in with your Google Account.
- Pair your Fitbit device with the Google Health app via Bluetooth.
Step 2: Sync Data to Health Connect
- Open the Google Health app on your Android phone.
- At the top left, tap Connections, then Partner apps.
- Under "Add connections," tap Sync your favorite health apps, then Set up.
- Review the on-screen information and tap Accept.
- Tap the data you'd like to sync (Steps, heart rate, sleep, and more), then Continue.
- When asked to "Allow additional access," choose Allow all (or select specific data types) so Steps and all other metrics stay synced. We recommend allowing ALL, then tap Allow.
- A confirmation page will appear saying "Google Health is syncing." Tap Done.
- To confirm it worked: Connections > Partner apps > Manage Health Connect — you should see "Synced just now."
Step 3: Connect WalkFit
- Open the WalkFit app.
- Go to Settings > Integrations & Data.
- Make sure Health Connect is selected as your main data source.
